Clear Mountain Air by Plum Flower are taken for acute phlegm-heat in the Lungs or Exterior Wind Cold Invasion with concurrent phlegm in the interior.
This may present with:

• labored breathing

• fever, chills, thirst & sweating
Clear Mountain Air is not a long term formula, but a bridge-type formula utilized when acute, excess situations occur. It should be followed up by a constitutional-type Chinese Herbal Formula that continues to work on the underlying patterns of Deficiencies.

Ingredients: Ginkgo biloba seed, Morus alba root-bark, Platycodon grandiflorum root, Perilla frutescens fruit, Prunus armeniaca seed, Scutellaria baicalensis root, Pinellia ternata rhizome, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root, Stemona sessilifolia root, Aster tataricus root & rhizome
Other Ingredients: Talcum, Activated carbon, China wax
TCM Functions: Descends and Disperses Lung Qi, Clears Heat, Dissolves Phlegm, Restores the Downward Flow of Lung Qi
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x per day
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In the initial phases, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the formula takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. If administered alone for acute symptoms, it is usually taken for a period of weeks.
Contraindications Contraindicated for conditions due to wind-cold without heat signs.
