Shan Zha Jiao by Treasure of the East is a traditional Chinese herb also known as Hawthorn (Processed). Hawthorn Fruit reduces food stagnation, especially from meat and greasy foods, invigorates the blood flow, and alleviates diarrhea and dysentery.

Contraindications: Use with caution in those with weakness or deficiency of the Spleen and Stomach. Large doses are absolutely contraindicated during pregnancy, as this can lead to fetal death.

Chinese Symptomology: Abdominal distention, pain or diarrhea due to food stagnation, post-partum pain and clumps due to blood stasis, bulging disorders.

Western Symptomology: Hypertension, coronary artery disease, elevated serum cholesterol.

Shan Zha Jiao Ingredients:
Shan Zha (Jiao) - Crataegus Fruit (processed). Non-GMO starch which contains maltodextrin, are used as excipients.

Suggested Use:
Adults mix 4.5 g in hot water and drink as tea 2 to 3 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Consult your herbalist or healthcare practitioner prior to using this product if you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication. Discontinue use if allergic reaction occurs.
