DHEA 15 mg by Karuna (Dehydroepiandrosterone) seeks to provide hormone and adrenal support with 15 mg of dehydroepiandrosterone per capsule.

DHEA is a corticosteroid hormone, which means the hormone is produced in the adrenal cortex. It is used in the body to make sex hormones like estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Unfortunately, production of this hormone slows as we get older (30+) and as a result of certain health issues. People take it in supplement form in hopes of maintaining hormonal balance and adrenal function as they age.
