Xiang Sha Liu Jun Zi Tang by Blue Poppy’s Great Nature Classics is a formula that comes from Luo Meis early Qing dynasty Ming Yi Fang Lun (Treatise on Famous Physicians Formulas).

Within this formula, Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, and Gan Cao fortify the spleen and supplement the qi.

Ban Xia, Chen Pi, and Sheng Jiang dry dampness and harmonize the stomach.

Mu Xiang moves the qi and disperses stagnation. It also harmonizes the liver and spleen.

Sha Ren moves the qi, warms the middle, and aromatically penetrates and transforms dampness.

Action: Supplements Qi, invigorates the Spleen and regulates the Stomach.

Pattern: Deficiency of the Spleen and Stomach with phlegm-dampness and Qi stagnation.
