  Zhi Gan Cao Tang by Blue Poppy’s Great Nature Classics is a formula that comes from Zhang Zhong-jing’s late Han dynasty Shang Han Lun (Treatise on Damage [Due to] Cold). Zhi Gan Cao Tang helps with: • Heart palpitations • Dry cough without phlegm or cough with foamy, scanty spittle • Emaciation • Spontaneous sweating and/or night sweats • Rapid pulse or a bound and intermittent (irregular) pulse Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix) is used to nourish yin, and in ancient times was also said to free the vessels.
