Phytocalm by Herbalist & Alchemist helps promote restful sleep.

Western Symptomology: Mild to moderate cases of insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, tension, headaches associated with tobacco or caffeine withdrawal. Also useful for muscle spasms, tension headaches and back pain, as well as palsies and tremors associated with Parkinson's desease, Bell's Palsy and trigeminal neuralgia.

Properties: Nervine, Sedative, antispasmodic, mild anodyne

Contraindications: Depression. Use of large quantities may cause drowsiness and temporarily impair motor skills (driving, etc.).

Phytocalm Ingredients: Proprietary Blend 4 ml --Extracts of Skullcap flowering tops (Scutellaira lateriflowr) --Hops strobiles (humulus lupulus) --Oat milky seed (Avena sativa) --Passionflower herb (Passiflor incarnate) --California Poppy whole plant (Eschscholzia californica) --Valerian root (Valeriana officinale)

Other Ingredients: Distilled water, ethyl alcohol.

Suggested Use: Add 40-80 (2 - 4 ml) ideally in Chamomile tea while symptoms persist. Can also be taken in juice or water. Take in the evening or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Shake well before using. For general anxiety or withdrawal 30-40 drops (1.5 - 2 ml) taken 3 times per day.

Additional Recommendations: Increase B vitamins, calcium, magnesium, foods containing tryptophan such as turkey in the diet.
