Er Chen by Plum Flower is used to dissolve phlegm, resolve spleen-damp, regulate qi and harmonize the center. It is one of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s oldest formulas. It is an important, foundational formula to dispel and clear wetness, especially within your Spleen, Stomach and digestive system.

Er Chen is helpful with cough with clear or white phlegm, nausea or gastric: poor appetite or excess stomach acid.

• Cough, copious white sputum that is easily expectorated
• Chest or epigastric fullness
• Stifling sensation in chest or abdomen
• Chronic nasal and/or sinus congestion
• Palpitations
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Dizziness
• Fatigue
• Phlegm masses
• Throat nodules

Ingredients (Pin Yin): Ban xia, Chen pi, Fu ling, Gan cao, Sheng jiang

Ingredients: Pinellia ternata rhizome, Citrus reticulata peel, Poria cocos sclerotium, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root, Zingiber officinale rhizome-fresh. Talcum, Activated carbon, China wax.

TCM Functions: Dries Dampness, Transforms Phlegm, Regulates Qi, Harmonizes Spleen and Stomach

Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x per day

Excessive or improper use of this formula can lead to excessive thirst and a dry throat.

Contraindications per label: Contraindicated for cough due to dryness or Lung Yin deficiency.
